Monday Motivation: Open This If you're the Strong Friend...

Hey Reader

How are you doing, sis?

I know it’s not easy being the strong friend—the one everyone turns to for support, advice, and a listening ear. You’re always there for others, but here’s the thing: it’s okay to admit that you need encouragement and support, too. Sometimes, those around you might forget that you need a shoulder to lean on as much as anyone else.

I want to encourage you today to remember that you don’t always have to be strong for everyone else. Even Jesus, who carried so much, took time to rest and reconnect with the Father. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

Here are five scriptures to remind you that you’re not alone and God sees you:

  1. “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)
  2. “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
  3. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)
  4. “But the Lord stood by me and gave me strength.” (2 Timothy 4:17)
  5. “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” (Isaiah 40:29)

Remember this: You have a God who is always there for you—offering rest, strength, and love when you need it most. Don’t forget to lean on Him and let Him renew your spirit today.

And, sis... Don't forget, You are seen, loved, and worthy of all the care you give to others.

Hey Reader Happy Monday to You! Recently, I shared a post on Instagram about recognizing the voice of God—and wow, I was blown away by how many resonated with this struggle. It's a journey, isn't it? One that's both deeply personal and incredibly vital to our faith walk. I know firsthand how challenging it can be. There are moments I find myself asking, "Lord, are You even speaking to me?" But here's the beautiful truth: God is always speaking. Sometimes, though, we need to fine-tune our...

Hey Reader, Happy March! Scripture for the Month: “ “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” — Isaiah 43:19 As we step into... a new month, I want to remind you of a powerful promise from God: Maybe you’ve been feeling stuck, waiting for a breakthrough, or wondering if God is still working in your life. Let this be your confirmation—He is making a way, even in the most impossible situations. “...

Hey Reader Happy Monday! Have you ever felt like you’re running on empty—spiritually, emotionally, or even physically? Life has a way of pulling us in so many directions that we forget to refill our own cup. I remember watching a video from Bill Devall talking about how his therapist had to remind him that the scripture, Psalm 23:5...“Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” says nothing about tilting your cup:...
