Monday Motivation: Open This If you're the Strong Friend...

Hey Reader

How are you doing, sis?

I know it’s not easy being the strong friend—the one everyone turns to for support, advice, and a listening ear. You’re always there for others, but here’s the thing: it’s okay to admit that you need encouragement and support, too. Sometimes, those around you might forget that you need a shoulder to lean on as much as anyone else.

I want to encourage you today to remember that you don’t always have to be strong for everyone else. Even Jesus, who carried so much, took time to rest and reconnect with the Father. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

Here are five scriptures to remind you that you’re not alone and God sees you:

  1. “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)
  2. “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
  3. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)
  4. “But the Lord stood by me and gave me strength.” (2 Timothy 4:17)
  5. “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” (Isaiah 40:29)

Remember this: You have a God who is always there for you—offering rest, strength, and love when you need it most. Don’t forget to lean on Him and let Him renew your spirit today.

And, sis... Don't forget, You are seen, loved, and worthy of all the care you give to others.
