Its OK to Hold Both Pain and Joy

I want to encourage you today that it is okay to feel both...

Life has a way of weaving the most unexpected emotions together.

Joy and sorrow,

celebration and mourning

– they often walk hand in hand, creating a bittersweet melody that reminds us we are human.

Right now, I’m living in this tension. I’m celebrating the birth of one daughter while mourning the absence of my first daughter, Journey Faith. It doesn’t hurt any less, but I’ve learned to carry the pain differently. Life can be complicated like that. And sis, it’s absolutely normal to feel both deeply.

This season has taught me that embracing both the pain and the joy is not a contradiction. It’s an act of faith. It’s a reminder that God is present in every part of our story – the laughter, the tears, and the spaces in between.
